I loving finding new ways for me to incorporate crafts into our home school curriculum. This past week we have been focusing on nature. With the leaves changing colors and winter around the corner I want to take advantage of every last drop of sunlight left.

Recently I was sent a fun Magic School Bus Exploring The Wonders of Nature for the purpose of this review. I was thrilled for this kit to arrive so that my daughter and I could really expand upon our learning with fun hands on activities.

The Magic School Bus Exploring The Wonders Of Nature contains lots of fun crafts to make. A few of them include making a bug house, building an ant farm, creating a bear footprint cast, make a transparent egg in a jar, create a paper mache ant, press live flowers and more!

This kit had so many fun activities in it that we were able to fill up two whole weeks of classes! We got to learn about the parts of an ant and then build one, catch bugs and put them into our bug house and press flowers that we later made into book marks. They will make great Christmas gifts for the Grandma’s!

The Magic School Bus Exploring The Wonders Of Nature contains everything you will need to make and complete each of these fun science projects. With the exception of a few on hand materials (like container for bug house and news paper to make ant).

The Magic School Bus Exploring The Wonders Of Nature kit is recommended for ages 5+ and can be found at  The Young Scientist Club!

Ashes Thoughts (age 8)

The Magic School Bus Kit is really fun to do but it would have been hard on my own. I am glad my Mom was there to help me with the bear print. The bear print was made out of some like pottery stuff and was fun and we were able to get a little messy which I love. I also loved being able to paint the ant and then I got a bucket and made my own ant farm. It was all really fun and I learned a lot about bugs and flowers.
