MyThoughts
Haveyou ever thought about what your life might be like after a divorce?Maybe you are Divorced and are learning to now live a life of yourown? Did you have to take a stepping stone by living with yourparents before you got out on your own? Do you feel like your placedinto a specific category when it comes to your children and your nowsingle life?
Afew years ago my parents were Divorced. My Mom quickly re-married andhad another child, whereas my Father is still trying to find hisperfect life. It was fun to read 40-Year-Old Version and get a lookinto a man’s thoughts after his divorce. I found this book hilariousand made me think about how my Dad probably felt as he embarked onhis new life.
Iam so happy that Joel took something that can be touchy with somepeople and made it comical. I know that it is probably hard to see anex or to become a part time parent but Joel took those difficultiesand wrote about them in a way that everyone can relate too! I reallyenjoyed this book!
