Etsy Feature for Handmade With Love Event!

Getting to know Kirameku
1. I am from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and well, there is nothing much to say about my childhood, except maybe that I was always interested into Arts. I have been into Arts schools in the last 5 years and this year I`ll be completing my Illustration & Design tecnhique at Dawson College – yeah! I am a full time student with a part time job in an art store, and I just can`t live without drawing and painting ! 😀

I started making jewlery a few years ago when I couldn`t find excaly what I was looking for. And yes, I am super picky ! 😛

2. To find my shop name was really hard… ! I hesitated a long time on a few japanese words, because I love that language and I love it’s sounds ! I finally gave in for Kirameku since I thought it represented so well the ambiance I wanted to give to my shop. It`s the word to describe the shine of the ocean and the diamonds, since I am addicted to everything that shines ! 😀
3. Yes ! I do ! 😛 I have a blog where I present lovely discoveries and where I give you sneek peeks of my work. I have a twitter too to inform you about my sales and discounts ! A lot of them are items of the day discounts, so check it out ! 😀

4. Yes ! I can`t wait to list them ! 😀 I will be having more artwork and more rings coming up, as well as new necklaces. I want to create a Fall and Winther collection to add up even more color to my store ! 😀

Right now, I am working on a Colombine watercolor, that, hopefully, will be done by today and listed soon ! 😀

I am also thinking about maybe doing some wedding cake toppers, but I am still working on the idea.

5. My inspiration comes from nature for my jewlery or from fashion magazines for some pieces. I usually try to have the trendy colors in shop and I must say that I order pretty much anything that hits my eyes too ! 😛

6. I think you can see that I enjoy making them all, but I must admit that the one item I have the most fun with is my rings. I just can’t make enough of them, I always find a new combination, new colors to add. I just love how they can adapt to anything, may it be your everyday wear or your cocktail dress ! 😀

7. Anything else… Well, it is my very first year on Etsy and I would like to thank everyone for their support, as I had to work a lot on my shop and I am so honored to see that I have so many hearted items !

I created my shop to bring you more colors and pieces for every budget so you can feel pretty and unique ! 😀

Your comments, suggestions are always welcomed, as well as custom orders !

Also, if you are living in Montreal, I have framed artwork that is currently exposed and for sale at the marvelous restaurant Le Papillon Blue at the border of the Old Port and ChinaTown.
