I am from Maryland, About 50 miles from Washington,DC. I have lived in different parts of Maryland all my life. I’m a 49 year old stay at home mom. I have 3 chrildren,31,27,and,19.My 2 older ones are married and moved on. They do still live pretty close by. My 19 year old still is at home, but she to is planning on getting married in 2012.I have 4 Grand children. They are 11, 8, 6, and 1 years old. I am a young Grammy!!My husband and I have been married for 33 years. High School sweethearts! I have always been blessed to stay at home with all my kids. Which gave me time to do my love, CRAFTS..
I bet you guessed how I got my shop name. Yes my 4 lil’ Grand children!!I have changed my shop items several times, but I really love what I do now, which is sell baby items of all kinds. Gifts sets, handmade cards, blankets, bibs, wash cloth sets, and still plan on making more things to add to it. I do twitter and blog, but I must be honest. I don’t do it hardly at all.
I guess my inspiration would be my own kids and seeing all the new and fun items out their. When I go to baby showers I get such a great response on my items it makes me feel good. I think all people love getting handmade items as gifts.
I don’t really have a favorite item, but I really love making box sets of all kinds. And I like to make my cards. And love my bibs as well.
The only thing I would like to add is just I love to do crafts so much, it really is not about the money for me. It is knowing people are willing to pay for something I have made and like it. That is the most joy I get from my shop.It puts a huge smile on my face when I see or hear ” Oh I love this”..

4lilcupcakes kindly asked me what item I would like to review. It was a very hard decision for me to make but, when I seen the golden books material I could not pass it up. Golden books are the best and I grew up with their many childhood stories.
The golden books bib is just how you would imagine it is a pretty gold color that can be used for a boy or a girl. There is also a very soft cream color on the backside of and both colors match together very nicely! The thread used is also the exact same color as the backside of the bib so that is nice as well. The stitches are done by a sewing machine which makes them nice and even. I have seen some Etsy sellers stitch them by hand and it just does not look as clean and nice as 4lilcupcakes. Plus with a sewing machine you know that the stitches will hold together very well. 4lilcipcskes also has a variety of cards, bibs, blankets, wash cloths, and clothes! Plus 4lilcupcakes even has them in some super cute designs for example lollipops! How fun!
