Where are you from and a little bit about you?After going to cosmetology school, I was always going crazy with mine and Laura’s hair. Somewhere between pink and purple hair I realized I wanted other people to be able to show off their style without having to color their hair a bright color. That’s when we started creating fun hair accessories to let others show off their individuality. Currently I make fabulous headbands, clips, and bobbies, while Laura is working on some amazing hats for the fall season. Our motto is “be pretty” and we strive to make every piece express that.

We are really excited to announce that we will be showcasing our line for a few days at Henri Bendel in NY in August! It’s an amazing opportunity and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our family, friends, and fans so thank you! Be pretty!
I always have something in my hair. My most common hair accessories are flowers and headbands. I have never before worn a flower on a headband. I don’t know why I did not think to combine the two along time ago!
I was able to review a blue flower headband from Mila Rose Designs. I love it! The flowers are not just some store bought flower glued onto a headband. They are handmade flowers that are stitched together petal by petal. The center of the flower is held together with beads that are matching in color. The headband itself is also covered with a ribbon in a complementary color. The back of the flower has a piece of felt over it to lie softly against your hair and ingeniously has a tag with Mila Rose Designs written on it so that you never forget who made it. My favorite feature about the headband flower is that the material for the petals has been heated around the edges to ensure that your flower will not fray. I have not seen this done with any of the other hair flowers I have reviewed and I am pleased that the gals have put so much thought into the details of their items. The quality at Mila Rose Designs is outstanding and I know that if this is an example of their overall craftsmanship than you will get your money out of your items every time!
