Handmade Wooden T.V. Brooch Review and Giveaway (3 Winners)CLOSED

Getting to know Amelia (Vectorcloud)
Where are you from? and a little bit about you?
My Name is Amelia and I live in Queens, New York. I am a product designer who thoroughly cherish my independence as an “indie” designer and a new mother. When I am not busy creating, I love hanging out with my family and friends, like going out for a picnic, taking my baby and dog to the park, or barbecuing in the backyard with the neighbors.

What items do you carry in your shop?

Vectorcloud specializes in laser engraved/cut products which range from jewelry to home decors. I use a few different materials, but my favorite is to work with natural material such as wood/bamboo.

How did you decide on your shop name?

Vector comes from all the vector drawings that I have to create for the laser cutter; Cloud comes from the sky, the boundless space for all creativity 🙂

Do you have anything new you plan on adding to your store?

Soon I will be adding bracelets and new earrings, however I am very open to ideas and love to explore, so do visit the store often to check out the new products.

Do you have a blog, twitter, or facebook page?
I have a Facebook fanpage and a Flickr page.

What is your inspiration when making a new item?

Many things could be an inspiration. I especially love vintage or old fashioned items, simple everyday objects that once were mundane, but now become so adored and cherished.

Anything else you would like us to know?

Besides designing and making my own products, I also do custom work and service. So if you like my work, but can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, I would love to work with you. Email me at vectorcloud@gmail.com or visit my store http://www.vectorcloud.etsy.com/.
My Thoughts

Simply Amazing! I received T.V. Brooch as well as a hot air balloon necklace to review. I was surprised by the details that are placed into each piece. When I first opened the box and looked at them I was concerned that some of the smaller parts would easily break or that the wood would cause the items to get stuck to my clothing. Neither was the case! The smaller parts are not small enough to break easily and the wood was smooth even around the places with the most detail. I have never seen jewelry made out of wood before and I find it simply amazing. Wood is not the only item that Amelia uses to make her stunning jewelry! She also has unique pieces made out of paper and felt! How cleaver! I know that you cannot go wrong when making a purchase from Amelia! Her items are lovely and once you see them you will agree!
