Lemon Glazed Lemon Bread I remember the first time I ate a lemon. I was about 7 years old and I was with my Aunt Jolene who was around 14. She used to cut lemons into wedges and eat them  like an orange. I remember that sometimes she would eat them with salt and other times without. One day as she was eating a lemon she offered me a slice. I have been addicted ever since! There is something about that tangy and tart flavor that I can't resist! My daughter is now the age I was during my first lemon experience and I can honestly say that she loves to eat lemons as well! Sausage and Pepper Cheese Burger We have been in the 70's this week here in Colorado. I love this weather because as the days warm up we are able to grill more and more often. Recently Ragú sent me a couple product coupons for their Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce and with those coupons I was trying to come up with a great recipe that would allow me to grill. That is why I came up with this Sausage and Peppers Cheese Burger! I have always loved Sweet Italian Sausage with grilled peppers and onions but I had never thought to use sausage as a patty on a burger. Turkey Taco Bites   I have been focusing on eating healthy this year. Basically if it is not healthy then I don't want to put it into my body. This has actually been a lot easier then I anticipated. I cleaned out all the cupboards and freezers of all the junk and I make sure that I am not hungry when I go grocery shopping..that helps me stick to my list better. :) One of the ways I have been focusing on eating healthy is by cutting down on the amount of red meat that my family eats. Easter Caramel Corn   The look of excitement on my daughters face is one of the greatest joys in my life.  I love to see her shining eyes and a smile on her face. That is why I have been building the anticipation for Easter with lots of Easter time crafts and snacks. Today I have another adorable Easter time snack to share with you. This idea is really easy and fun for the kids just like my Adorable Bunny Pretzels and my Pudding Box Planter Cookies that I posted recently. Ingredients: 4 cups plain air popped popcorn 1 cup butter 2 cups light brown sugar 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 bag of Easter candy, any type you want. Chocolate Chip Banana Bread   I love to bake bread with my daughter. There is something comforting about baking together and then eating the fruits of our labor as we cuddle on the couch. Each time my daughter and I bake bread we try to come up with different ideas. Some of you might remember my Mango Bread or my coconut bread....well now I have yet another amazing bread to add to the list! Chocolate Chip Banana Bread!  Banana bread of any kind is a huge hit at my house. But, when you add chocolate to it....it takes it to a whole new level! Reese's Peanut Butter Fudge! I am addicted to Reese's! They are one of my all time favorite candies. There is something magical about peanut butter and chocolate together! These are the type of candy that I purchase and hide somewhere away from the kids! If you love Reese's as much as I do then you will want to  make this amazing Reese's Peanut Butter Fudge! Recently I have been trying to figure out what I am going to make for Easter Dinner. Now I know this is not a dinner idea...but I think that this Reese's Peanut Butter Fudge will make a tasty (and easy to make) dessert for everyone! Plus You can use the Reese's Chocolate Easter Eggs to make this extra special! Yum! To make the Reese's Peanut Butter Fudge I used a 12x8 Pan, but you can use any thing you want. Bunny Pretzels - Fun Snack For The Kids! We are counting down to Easter and Spring Time here at my house. This past week I have watched the grass in my front yard begin to green, the flowers start to peek through the dirt and the snow clouds turn to rain clouds.  With all these beautiful changes comes the renewal of Spring! As we count down the days to Spring my family and I have had a blast doing "spring time" activities. We have recently got the bikes out of the garage, broke out our flip flops.....and started making ready for spring time snacks! Items Needed: Mini pretzels White chocolate chips, melted Red gel frosting Black gel frosting Directions: Place pretzels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Celebrate Mardi Gras with these festive Mardi Gras Cupcakes   Mardi Gras is just around the corner and although I am not planning on going to New Orleans any time soon, I am planning on living it up right here in my own home with these amazing Mardi Gras Cupcakes! Plus these cupcakes are so beautiful and festive you will probably want to make them more then once a year! Yum! Comparing with purchasing one pair, a pair of DIY shoes must be much more meaningful. Below, you will be introduced with a tutorial, which helps you make rabbit shoes for your kid. Believe it or not, it¡¯s funny :D! Step 1: draw the pattern you want to make on a piece of paper. According to the drawn style, cut them off from the cloth. Here, I used pure cotton.   Canned - Zucchini Relish   Every fall I get bombarded with Zucchini and Squash. I am not complaining as I LOVE zucchini and squash and with my over abundance of it I am able to come up with new recipe ideas to try! Normally when I get an over abundance of Zucchini and Squash I just can it into pickles. But this year I decided to try something different.......Zucchini Relish! Spiced Honey Vanilla Peaches   I am a sucker for peaches! Recently I found two bushels of peaches at my front door. My Uncle has a Peach Tree in his back yard and this year he had an abundance of peaches that he decided to share with me. I was thrilled! As I was debating what I was going to can with this years peach crop I decided upon Spiced Honey Vanilla Peaches. I had never canned these before but they sounded amazing and I knew that I had to give them a try!   Ingredients:  7 lbs peaches peeled and sliced2tbs vanilla extract4 cinnamon sticks1/2 cup white sugar1 cup honey2 cups water  Directions: 1. Wash peaches and score an X at bottom of each peach. 2. Blanch peaches 1 minute in boiling water. 3. Immediately place blanched peaches into ice water and let sit for 1 minute. 4. We eat a lot of peanut butter in my house. This is for a number of reasons. #1 - I can a lot of jelly throughout the year. #2 - It is easy to make and pack for school lunches. #3 - It's a great source of protein. Although we eat a lot of peanut butter in our home my family has been complaining recently that they are tired of the same old peanut butter taste.     Quick and Healthy way to replace Cooking Oil in your Baked Goods!   I am always in search of ways to make things more healthy. I have been on a weight loss mission for over a year now and I am happy to say that I have picked up a few tips along the way. One of my favorite tips allows me to continue to eat all those cakes and brownies that I love so much. Ok I don't eat them often but when I do I prepare them in a healthier way! Did you know that every time you read cooking oil in a recipe for your favorite baked goods you can replace it with equal amounts of apple sauce. It is such a brilliant idea that will help your baked items to cook beautifully in a healthier way. Plus the apple sauce will leave your cakes and muffins moist and tender! Cutting the oil out of these recipes is a great way to cut calories! I wish I would have  known about this tip years ago! But, now that I do know.....I will never forget it!
