My Thoughts on American Girl McKenna Shoots for the Stars When I was growing up I loved to read anything American Girl. The books captivated my attention and the magazine helped me to love myself with their words of self esteem and confidence. Now that my daughter is growing I want to encourage her with positivity and I know that American Girl can do that for her just as it did for me. Recently I was able to review American Girl's new movie McKenna Shoots for the Stars. This DVD could not have come at a better time as McKenna is about a girl who has a love for gymnastics which just so happens to be my daughters passion as well. My Thoughts on Journey2 The Mysterious Island Let me start out by saying I LOVED THIS MOVIE! I have never before seen the first Journey movie and had not in all honest heard of the second movie up until the time it was sent to me for review. Journey2 is a movie the whole family will enjoy! Action and adventure without all the bad language and blood that I dislike from so many other movies. Journey2 is about a boy who is on the lookout for his Grandpa and the Mysterious Island he has been searching for, for years. My Thoughts on Disney's John Carter I must admit this movie was much different then I ever thought it would be. When I first seen the previews I thought that it was a Disney movie that did not look very interesting to me. I was wrong. I actually enjoyed this movie. John Carter has some deep parts that took a bit for me to understand but I really liked the general concept and thought it was a good movie. John Carter has had a lot of pain in his life and is all of a sudden thrown into a new planet and whole new culture he never knew existed. My Thoughts on The Woodcarver Restoring their Faith in God and In Life There is nothing better then sitting down with my family to watch a good, wholesome, God Loving movie. That is exactly what you will find with The Woodcrafter staring John Ratzenberger. This movie is about a boy who is troubled by his parents divorce. After taking things too far and vandalizing a church he has nothing left to do but rectify the situation and rebuild what he broke. My Thoughts on The Adventures of Tintin As soon as I seen the first preview of The Adventures of Tintin I knew that it would be a movie for me. Action and adventure plus a great story line. It sounded fun and like a movie the whole family would love. Recently I was sent a copy of The Adventures of Tintin for the purpose of this review. I think my husband was even more excited to watch this movie then I was so we popped it in right away and sat down for a night of movies. In the beginning I was a little nervous of this movie. There was shootings and killings in this movie that I was not expecting my six year old to see. Although it was done as nicely as possible and thankfully I don't think she really knew what was going on anyway... Hugo Movie Review!
My Thoughts on Hugo When the previews for Hugo starting appearing on TV I instantly knew it was going to be a must see! Then when I started seeing Huge get nominated for awards all over Hollywood it just confirmed for me how much I needed to see this movie. Recently I was able to review Hugo and could not wait to watch this movie with my family. It is not very often I get to review movies like this and I knew it would be a family hit! I was right! Hugo is the story of an orphan boy who lives in a train station. He works hard to keep the clock in the station running right on time as well as other fun contraptions he has in his hidden apartment. HOP Movie Review & Screening Party!
My Thoughts on HOP I had never seen Easters hit movie HOP before and I was excited because for my first time ever not only was I going be able to watch HOP with my family but also host a HOP party for all of my daughters friends! To start off I received an awesome package in the mail that contained HOP the movie as well as fun activities for the kids including drum sticks, stickers, and even a stuffed E.B. Bunny! I knew that these were going to be a big hit with the kiddos and boy was I right! I decided to keep the feel of the party going I would also have the kids set up to decorate Easter Egg cookies while they watched the cute HOP movie. The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride The Lion King is one of my favorite Disney Cartoons and to be honest it had been many, many years since I seen any of the Lion King movies so I was thrilled to get a chance to watch The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride with my family! In Lion King 2 you will find the characters you know and love! Simba, Timon, Pumbaa and more! Plus a few new characters join the Pride! Yep that's right, Simba's daughter and Scar's chosen one! Victorious Complete Season 2 Review and Giveaway!
Nickelodeon Victorious Complete Season 2 Prior to this review I had never before heard of Victorious. In fact it was not until yesterday that I even learned that Victoria Justice was even a singer. I was sent The complete Second Season of Victorious for the purpose of this review and I must say I was thrilled with this fun Nickelodeon TV Series. Victorious takes place at a Hollywood Arts school where a group of friends have corky adventures. To be honest I put the DVD in my car on the way to pick up my daughter from school so I could listen to it. I must admit that I laughed through the whole episode and decided that when I got home I wanted to sit down and actually watch all of them! They were funny and my daughter and I enjoyed getting to know the fun loving group of friends.
