Dino Dan: Twas A Dinosaur My thoughts on Dino Dan: Twas A Dinosaur - Well first off my son likes Dino Dan but not as much as my daughter! They will both sit down and it will captivate them for the entire show! I really love Dino Dan and how amazing this little boy’s imagination is! It really shows my kids that they also can have a limitless imagination! They love to see how Dino Dan will solve his mysteries each time. Dan Henderson is the main character on Dino Dan and this great spin Twas a Dinosaur dvd is something your kids will love! Wait, I end up sitting down and watching this show with my kids as well and I enjoy it too! We do not have cable tv in our home so I love that we can have a dvd of this great show and can pop it in during quiet time. My Thoughts on DreamWorks Merry Madagascar, Shrek the Halls and Dragons Gift of the Night Fury WOW! Three great cartoon favorites all in one place! Plus these fun loving cartoons are centered around the holiday's to make this even more special and fun! Recently I was sent a copy of DreamWorks new holiday themed DVD! I was so excited to have a Christmas movie night with my family. We were able to watch all the great cartoons with over an hour of holiday filled antics! In Merry Madagascar the team gets a run in with Santa....although Santa does not know he is Santa! Will the gang be able to save Christmas? My Thoughts on Santa Paws 2 The Santa Pups I love the Santa Paws movies. They are very cute and filled with Christmas cheer. I received Santa Paws 2 The Santa Pups for the purpose of this review. I was so excited to review this movie. It arrived just in time for me to take it on our vacation for Thanksgiving. We were staying with my Grandma over the holiday and we were able to have a movie night at Grandma's house. This was super special for my family. My Thoughts on Prep & Landing AND Prep & Landing Naughty vs. Nice Last year before Christmas I was able to review Prep & Landing. My family loved watching the little elves and their fun-loving antics. This year I was excited to see the new addition to the Prep & Landing adventure! Naughty vs. Nice is a story about two brothers who you would never think were even related! But, they are and together they will work to save Christmas! Prep & Landing and Prep & Landing Naughty vs. Nice are both 23 minutes long for a total of 46 minutes of wholesome Christmas fun! Disney has done it again with yet another great Christmas story! Zumba Fitness Core – Week 2
My Thoughts on Zumba Fitness Core - Week 2 I still can't get enough of my Zumba Fitness Core! I am still alternating days, one day I am strength training at the gym and the second day I am doing 1 hour of Zumba at home for my Cardio workout. I am really getting into a routine here and love seeing the results. Last week I lost 2 lbs and this week I can add another 2 to those lbs! That is awesome! The workout are super fun and there is a huge variety of music and dance moves. Plus it has been a great bonding experience for my daughter and I. She is only 7 but this Zumba game is getting her off the couch and dancing around the living room with me! It's super fun! My Thoughts on The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa Recently I was sent a copy of The Yummy Gummy Search for Santa for the purpose of this review. I must say that I was not expecting much and I did not get much with this DVD. To be honest I am a strict parent when it comes to what the kids watch on T.V. The truth is I have lots of cartoon's blocked because I can not stand to listen to the rude and vulgar language of many of today's cartoons. Rude and vulgar is exactly what I got with this DVD. I should have expected that since the front cover of the DVD case shows a gummy bear in his underwear. Within the first 10 minutes of this DVD there was farting noises as well as weight jokes about Santa. Defiantly not the Christmas cheer that I want to share with my family before Christmas. I know that I am uptight when it comes to cartoons but I honestly can't see any age that this would be appropriate for. My Thoughts on The Muppet Christmas Carol My daughter who is in 2nd grade came home a few weeks ago excited because she was going to be in her first ever play. She get's to be Scrooge in The Christmas Carol at school. She had never before heard of The Christmas Carol and I was excited to let her see it for the first time.....played out by The Muppet's of course! The Muppet's are something very special at our house. My daughter loves going to The Muppet show in Disney Land and to be honest when I seen that show for the first time a few years ago it was one of my first ever experiences with The Muppets. My Thoughts on Epic Mickey 2 The Power of Two I have said this before and I will say it again....Epic Mickey is the most fun game EVER! I was SO excited when I heard that Epic Mickey was going to make a 2nd game! The first time I turned on Epic Mickey I was surprised at the difficulty and graphics of this game. I usually don't like to play games that go along with cartoons or movies since they seem to be so simple and easy. But that is NOT the case with these awesome Epic Mickey games! In Epic Mickey 2 takes place in Wasteland just like the first one does. You will have fun using your paint and thinner to help save your beloved land. Dinosaur Train: BIG BIG BIG Review! My thoughts on Dinosaur Train: BIG BIG BIG DVD – Oh how Dinosaur Train does it again. This amazingly educational series on PBS has branched out to include a brand new dvd of all our favorite characters on the show! I cannot talk highly enough about Dinosaur Train! I love this clean, appropriate show for my kids and I actually love to sit down with them and watch as well! I love how education it is and how quickly it can strike up conversations about science, history and more! The Nutcracker in 3D Review! My thoughts on The Nutcracker in 3D – I was so excited to be able to take my 9 year old daughter to this amazing event! I never would have thought that something so magical such as Tchaikovsky’s beautiful and elegant ballet, The Nutcracker would ever be in 3D and in a movie theater!! We sat in the very back row with our 3D glasses on and we had the best seats in the house! Everything was amazing in 3D….it didn’t matter where we sat actually because it was all right there and beautifully done. Had we been at that actual play, we would have missed so much of the detail! Being in 3D allowed us to see every single sparkle and move which was spectacular! The facial expressions were priceless and to see the ballerinas up close was something I had never seen before.
