Valley of the Dinosaurs Review!

Posted on March 30, 2011 / By: Krista Leave a Comment

MyThoughts on Hanna-Barbera's Valleyof the Dinosaurs Valley ofthe Dinosaurs is yet another Hanna-Barbera Classic that I had not yetseen. I do remember hearing of it as a child and thought that maybeone of my parents had talked about it when I was younger! Just onequick phone call to my Mom and I knew that I was right! She hadwatched it every Saturday morning with her sisters! Each week was anew adventure and she could not believe that you could now purchasethe complete series on DVD! She said that she would have to look intopurchasing that for my little brother (who is 5) because it is agood, wholesome cartoon that she knows he would enjoy! I knowthat when it arrived I had two boys in my home! A Two year old and aThree year old. Both of the boys are usually more interested in whatis around them than what is on the TV but with Valley of theDinosaurs it was different! Both of the boys sat there for about 45minutes before they even moved! That was a crazy amount of time … [Read more...]

Scrabble Flash Review!

Posted on March 30, 2011 / By: Krista Leave a Comment

My Thoughts on Scrabble Flash I have blogged time and time again about how much my familyand I enjoy playing games! Hasbro is always at the top of the Game Night listas they have SO many awesome games to play! This month we have been focusingour family time on Scrabble Flash! Scrabble Flash takes the Scrabble we all know and love tothe next level! What do I mean by that? Well it is electronic! There are atotal of 5 tiles that you turn on and they will each have a letter. Then youmust match up 3-4-or 5 letter words before time runs out! I love that the tilesknow when they are next to each other and can automatically tell when theyspell a word. This game has been fun for us because there are not a ton ofdifferent pieces that you have to have to play the game and since you can matchup 3-4 letter words then it is not too hard for my 5 year old to play with us.In fact it has really been helping her with her spelling! Scrabble Flash isalso a game that you can play quickly … [Read more...]

I was sent All Terrain Kids Lip Armor for the purpose ofmy review and it could not have come at a better time! It came in a Twin Packand contained a Bubble Gum and a Cherry flavor. I could not wait to try themout and I knew that the perfect tester would be my little girl as she usuallyhas the dries lips in the house! My daughter and I tried out the Bubble Gum flavor first. Iloved that All Terrain did not focus on the flavor and focused on the effect! There is a tint of Bubble Gum Flavor but not so much that the kids will justsit there licking it off the entire time that they wear it! Pookster’s choice of sweet or sour words will mean the differencebetween keeping her pickle….or losing it to Mommy forces! This silly story about an over-protective pickle eater teaches avaluable lesson on kindness and how our sweet words glorify God, but our sourwords hurt people. On The Back of Pookster and the Unloose Tooth Meet Pookster- a littlegirl who just happens to think that teeth are highly overrated and keeping themin too long can be hazardous to your health. Linda Eder ‘Now’ Album Review!

Posted on March 10, 2011 / By: Krista Leave a Comment

My Thoughts on Linda Eder Now You all know that when I post a music review I like to rate it by two categories.First the music I listen to while cleaning my house, and second the music Ilike to listen to while relaxing in a nice hot bubble bath. When I heard the beginningnotes of Linda Eder’s ‘Now’ album I thought that it would defiantly be arelaxing type cd. But after just a few more notes I realized that it had areally good beat to it and I could see myself dancing a tango around the housewhile I cleaned! The first song was a grab the mop and use it as a microphonetype of song. But then the second one started and I was back to relaxing andbubble bath music. I love the mix of music that can be found on Linda Eder’s ‘Now’ album. Ialso love the purity that can be found in her voice. She is a powerful singerand uses her voice to pull you into each song that she sings. Her album isfilled with powerful ballads with the occasional up beat tune. I had not heardof Linda Eder … [Read more...]
