The Character Box Review! My thoughts on The Character Box – When I first received this box I really wasn’t sure what to expect. I was pretty intrigued to say the least to see how my kids would react to this new “game” and the word amazed just doesn’t even begin to describe what our experiences have been when we play out of The Character Box! Ok, so you get this wooden box and when you open it, inside are 12 different pins you can put onto your shirt and each pin has a different character trait on it such as fairness, integrity, respect etc. Intrigued would be how I was feeling at this point! There is a card that explains the game and cards that have a little description of a situation on them and then a question about what you would do or how you would act with the character trait pin you are wearing. The Colored Pencil Factory Review! My thoughts on Astrograss The Colored Pencil Factory cd – I find this cd to be very upbeat and fun to listen to whether I had kids listening along with me or not! This cd is the third cd done by the band Astrograss and they did not disappoint their fans! You will first find your pen tapping on the table, followed by your foot going along with the rhythm and then all of a sudden you will just give up and go dance with the kids! Ok that was me, I just couldn’t help myself. I thought I would get some paperwork done while the cd entertained the kids but it ended up being a dance session for us all! This blue grass/folk style of music is definitely energized! K’NEX 50 Model Building Set Review!
My Thoughts on K'NEX 50 Model Building Set K'NEX is one of my top favorite toys ever! I remember when I was a kid my brothers and I could spend hours building model after model. Now that my daughter is finally of age to play with K'NEX and really enjoy them we have been getting them out more and more often. It is fun to sit on the floor with her and build entire K'NEX villages or castles and carnivals. The possibilities are endless. Recently I was sent the K'NEX 50 Model Building Set for the purpose of this review. The model set comes with instructions to build so many fun things that kids love like a surfer, 4-wheeler, fish, duck, airplane and more! My Thoughts on Angry Birds Star Wars Hasbro, Angry Birds and Star Wars have teamed up to bring you one of the most popular apps of all time....but this time it is not an app! Nope...It's a real game that you can set up and use your 3 little Star Wars birds to destroy the pigs in the tower you built. Angry Birds Star Wars Hasbro game is based off the app and is created for ages 8+. You can play with 1 or 2 players and the contents include a Luke Skywalker Bird, Jabba the Hutt Pig, Rancor Pig, Millennium Falcon Launcher, 12 plastic Jenga Blocks, 2 Dice, Label Sheet and Game Guide. My Thoughts on CAMP Board Game I come from an outdoorsy family and we love to get together and play board games! The CAMP Board Game is the perfect game to keep the outdoors in our life throughout the winter months when we don't get to the mountains as often as we would like. In the CAMP Board Game you can choose 1 of 4 levels of questions to ask each person depending on their knowledge. This is a game that really is perfect for the whole family because no matter your age you can be challenged to learn more new and interesting facts. For example my 7 year old daughter might get a question like ' What is the color of a male cardinal' and have multiple choice answers to choose from. That question might be a little easy for me or my husband so on the same card we might get a higher level question asked to us like 'How many states have the cardinal as the state bird?' My Thoughts on BabyFirstTV Presents I Can Sign First Words When my daughter was born I knew that I wanted to do everything in my power to give her the best start possible. This meant that I wanted to make sure to feed her little brain with as much knowledge that she could handle for her age. One of the things I practiced with her as an infant was sign language. I was amazed at how quickly she picked it up and how well she remembered each sign. As a toddler she continued to use the signs for things that she could not find the right words for. My Thoughts on Vicks Behind Ear Thermometer It's that time of year again. Cold and Flu season! It is such a horrible feeling to see your little ones sick. It breaks my heart to see my daughter so down and the last thing I ever want to do is wake her up once she is finally sleeping. That is why I think it is important to use a thermometer that she won't even notice. The Vicks Behind Ear Thermometer is easy to us and read. The screen will light up green behind the temperature to let you know that their body temperature is okay and you have nothing to worry about. If there is a fever then the light behind the temperature will change to yellow for a mild fever and red for a high fever. My Thoughts on Santa Paws 2 The Santa Pups I love the Santa Paws movies. They are very cute and filled with Christmas cheer. I received Santa Paws 2 The Santa Pups for the purpose of this review. I was so excited to review this movie. It arrived just in time for me to take it on our vacation for Thanksgiving. We were staying with my Grandma over the holiday and we were able to have a movie night at Grandma's house. This was super special for my family. My Thoughts on Prep & Landing AND Prep & Landing Naughty vs. Nice Last year before Christmas I was able to review Prep & Landing. My family loved watching the little elves and their fun-loving antics. This year I was excited to see the new addition to the Prep & Landing adventure! Naughty vs. Nice is a story about two brothers who you would never think were even related! But, they are and together they will work to save Christmas!
