Especially during your teenage years. Life is confusing, you don't know who you really are, and the expectations are endless. I am so happy that Kate Conner wrote a book to inspire teen girls. She lets them know that they are not alone. The feelings they are feeling are the same ones that all girls their age are feeling. And most important of all...they are good enough! I was thrilled to be able to find this book and add it into our curriculum. There is so many useful facts about all different kinds of trees. There are over 60 pages in this book that lists different kinds of trees and exactly why we need them. What we do with them and what they do for us. It is so fun to learn more about some of the trees we see every single day....and some of them we had never heard of before! Chicken Soup for the Soul Be the Best You Can Be I adore this Chicken Soup for the Soul book. It is a book that my daughter can relate to. I was so happy to hand her this book to read. These stories are able to uplift and inspire her. I love that she will learn more about making her best effort, having confidence and being grateful. Everything in this book is traits that I can only hope and prey to install in my daughter. I want her to always be the best she can be and it is books like this that will help me get her there. Winters Coming - A Story of Seasonal Change by Jan Thronhill Winters Coming by Jan Thornhill is a cute little story about a snowshoe hare who does not know who winter is. As she treks through the forest she encounters lots of animal friends. Birds, squirrels, turtle, mosquito, frogs and more. Each animal she encounters is preparing for winter. Unfortunately Lily is not sure what winter is and thus she does not know how to prepare for it. Each time she meets a new friend she speaks with them about the things they do to get ready for winter. Each time she also asks if that is what she is supposed to do. It is a cute and cleverly written book that will not only carry your children along on a fun adventure but they will also learn many fun facts along the way. Stendal Review  The River of God by Russell M. Stendal is a great book that will break down the scriptures for you. From Genesis through to Revelation, scripture by scripture. I am very knowledgeable when it comes to scripture reading. I read my scriptures every single day. But, at times it is not easy to know exactly what the scripture writer (or God) is trying to get across to us. Each scripture has a deeper meaning and when you find those meanings your whole outlook on life can change. I love how well Russell M. Stendal dived into each scripture. He broke it all down in a way that had me understanding.....and questioning things about my life. I really loved this book. Russell M.
