Busy Month of May!
Where have I been? I know it's crazy! I have not had much time to post the past couple of weeks but I will say that things have been insane! This past week my daughter has lost her first tooth, Turned 6, and Graduated Kindergarten! SO a little about all of those exciting events! Daughters first lost tooth- Such an awesome story! We were at her Great Grandma's for dinner! Her Great Grandma and Grandpa were there along with my Husband and I, her Grandmother, and her Great Great Grandma! She was showing each of them how loose her tooth was when her Grandma grabbed a napkin and pulled it right out of her mouth! The funnest thing....she did not even realize what happened! She took a step back and said..."Grandma..what did you do to me? My Tooth hurts!" I then looked at her and said "How can your tooth hurt? It is in my hand!" She looked into my hand and there it was! Nutella Party!
My Thoughts on Nutella I have been a huge Nutella fan for about five years. I seen it inthe Health Food Store one day and thought that it might be a healthier optionto my chocolate fascination. When I got home I made myself a Nutella and BananaSandwich and fell in love. Since my first taste of Nutella I have talked aboutit with many of my friends and family members and each have told me thatNutella was something they had always thought about trying but never did. That’swhy I knew I had to host a Nutella Party! I needed to put everyone’s ‘wantingto try it’ to rest and show them just how amazing Nutella Hazelnut Spread reallyis! I received a party kit filled with fun Nutella stuff as well aslots of information and recipe ideas! My Decoupage Boxes!
My Daughter and I have recently been creating these fun decoupage boxes! They are easy to do and look oh so cute! You Will Need Premade wooden box (found at hobby store) Scrapbook Paper Packet Stickers Decoupage ( I like the Glitter kind for these) Scissors Glue Stick Paint Brush How to: First off my daughter and I cut different shapes out of the scrap book papers. We then glued them all over the box making sure to cover it entirely. After the box was fully covered with the papers we decided where to place the fun stickers. Then the final step was to take a paint brush and coat the box with the decoupage! Coat all sides except one (to allow box to sit and dry) When drying is completed you may then coat the last side of the box and make sure that there are no papers lifting. If they are than just add a little more decoupage! So far my Daughter and I have made these for Thank You Gifts, Teacher Gifts, and Wedding Gifts...but the possibilities are endless! … [Read more...]
