HOP Movie Review & Screening Party!
My Thoughts on HOP I had never seen Easters hit movie HOP before and I was excited because for my first time ever not only was I going be able to watch HOP with my family but also host a HOP party for all of my daughters friends! To start off I received an awesome package in the mail that contained HOP the movie as well as fun activities for the kids including drum sticks, stickers, and even a stuffed E.B. Bunny! I knew that these were going to be a big hit with the kiddos and boy was I right! I decided to keep the feel of the party going I would also have the kids set up to decorate Easter Egg cookies while they watched the cute HOP movie. DIY Pickle Jar Candy Dishes!
Recenlty I found a great idea at a local craft fair in town and if you know me at all you know that when I see a craft I have to try to figure it out myself! - The craft was a pickle jar candy dish! Since seeing that cute craft I have now made many of them and love how fun they are to make and how neat they look in the house! Recently I also made some for Christmas gifts for my loved ones! First I took an empty pickle/pepper jar and washed it out and removed the label. Second I painted a wooden candle stick white along with the lid of the pepper jar (I found the candle sticks at Michaels, they also had glas candle sticks that will work well) After I painted the lid and candle stick I took E6000 glue and glued the jars onto the candle sticks. Where were you? I am sure that all of us remember that horrible day on September 11, 2001. Where were you when the world stopped turning? I remember that I was getting ready for school. I was in my bed room when I got a call from my boyfriend to turn on the T.V. I turned it on and was telling my Mom and Brother's to hurry and come watch. Of course they did not believe me but as we turned on the t.v. we watched in horror as the second plane went into the tower. My Phineas and Ferb The Movie Party!
Recently Thanks to Disney and Child's Play I was able to host a Disney's Phineas and Ferb The Movie party for my daughter and her friends! The kids could not wait as Phineas and Ferb are the in cartoon right now and everyone loves to watch them! I know that I myself love to watch the cartoon as it brings back childhood memories of me trying to get my little brothers in trouble just like Candace does with her brothers Phineas and Ferb! First thing first! We got everything out and started to decorate! I love all the fun stuff that was sent our way and knew that everything would be a BLAST for the kids to play with! My Weekend!
I know that I said the weekends would be filled with Reviews and Giveaways (and they will be) but this weekend I was not around to post as much as I might have liked! But, hey...that's okay! I spent the weekend with my husband and daughter at a car show! It was exciting because there were three of his projects in the show this year and we could not wait to show off his talent!
