My Thoughts on The Narnia Code
As a child I remember wanting an old fashioned wooden wardrobe, or anything magical for that matter. I wanted something that could take me away to a whole new world just like Narnia. I even used to go to bed at night and imagine I was a sister and I was helping to save Aslan or riding on trees just as in my favorite Narnia books.For me Narnia holds a special place, more so then any of the other popular fantasies of today. Narnia had a little of everything and I wish that I had half the talent that C.S. Lewis had.
I was given the chance to review the DVD Narnia Code. I could not wait for the DVD to come in the mail! I wanted to know what drew C.S. Lewis to write such magical stories. I wanted the insight to his life that I never before had. Narnia Code was everything I was hoping for and more. For example I have always been told that the Chronicles of Narnia were about Jesus and a higher power but never had anything to back it up. So the idea of Narnia being based off the planets in the solar system was a new concept to me. But, after hearing the facts behind the theory it would be hard for anyone to deny!
I was also very surprised to learn that C.S. Lewis was an atheist up until he met J.R.R. Tolkien. Even the fact that he knew and was good friends with J.R.R. Tolkien was amazing to me!
I also love the DVD cover on this movie! Very eye catching and defiantly made me want to watch the movie even more than I already did! It is also a movie I would purchase! In fact I was thinking that it would make a perfect Christmas gift for my Mom who introduced me to the Chronicles of Narnia! I loved this movie and I would recommend this to anyone who has ever loved the chronicles of Narnia. Truly a five star rating from me!
