Where are you from? and a little bit about you

What items do you carry in your shop?

In my shop I have baby blankets, organic bedding and nursery decor.

How did you decide on your shop name?

Oh my! It was a long brainstorming session that began with a mindmap. It was narrowed down to three and from there Sweet Baby Jane’s was chosen. I really liked the feeling it evoked; babies are just so sweet!

Do you have anything new you plan on adding to your store?

Yes! I am going to be adding organic crib sets. Each set will include a blanket, fitted sheet and pillow sham. I am super excited about it.

What is your inspiration when making a new item?

For me it starts with the fabric! I am a really visual person and I know what I like right away. I like mixing colours and patterns in unique ways. I like to make things that I haven’t seen before and I enjoy taking something as traditional as a baby blanket and making it hip, modern and fresh.

What items in your shop do you most enjoy making and why?

Hands down it’s my baby blankets. I love that visually they are graphic and modern, that they are eco-friendly and that they are completely unique and ooak. Even more though, I love the fact that these hip little blankets I’ve made are going to snuggle the sweet babes people love. It just warms my heart!

Anything else you would like us to know?

I would really love to do some custom orders! Everything in the shop can be personalized and I would jump at the chance to create something totally unique.
