My Thoughts on God and Sex

When first given the option to review God and Sex by Michael Coogan I was unsure. But then again there was just something about the book that made me want to read it.God and Sex is an easy read. Meaning that I understood the words and I did not feel that everything was over my head. But, I will say there were some parts that I completely disagree with and some that even made me a little angry as I am a firm believer in my faith. But then again there were some parts that I loved and learned a lot about! Such as the community that was formed and later wrote the Dead Sea scrolls. All in all I am impressed with the writing of Michael Coogan and I am glad to have read this book. It might not have been the best book but once I got past the parts that I disliked then I really started to enjoy it. I give God and Sex by Michael Coogan a three star rating.
