My Thoughts
I love educational cartoons. What could be better than knowing your child is learning? I was able to review Phonics Volume 1 by Rock N Learn. It is a cute DVD that is filled with catchy little tunes and such to teach kids about short vowels, consonants, blends & digraphs, word families, silent e, and read-along stories. My daughter was quickly singing along with the songs as well as reading along with the characters! I also have been letting my day care kiddos watch the DVD and their favorite tune is the one sung for silent e! This is one of those educational movies that the kids can watch and have so much fun that they will not know that they are learning. The colors are bright and pop right off the screen. The characters are fun and as my daughter says ” they are cool and hip.” I loved this movie. I can’t wait to check put what else Rock N Learn has to offer. Do you want to know too? Besides the phonics movies they also sell easy readers, addition and subtraction book, telling time, as well as much, much more!!
