I am so excited for Fall this year. Not only is it my 10 year wedding anniversary But……I’m going to be having a baby!!
Now that I am on my downhill slope of my pregnancy I am wanting to feel comfortable in what I wear. Good thing with Monroe and Main comfort does not mean frumpy and boring.It means COLOR! This Fall my “go-to” color is Merlot. I love how this add’s color, makes me feel confident and I can wear it with just about anything. Merlot goes great with yellow, teals, blacks, and more. One of my favorite items in the Monroe and Main Fall Color Catalog is the Lightweight Weekend Sweater. I love this sweater because it is soft, comfy and allows my skin to breath. It is hard being this pregnant and I love things that will flow instead of cling to my body right now. This will also be nice, loose and comfy during the months following the birth.
I decided to pair the Lightweight Weekend Sweater with my mostly teal scarf, yellow dangle earrings, black sunglasses, black handbag and a pair of jeans. I knew this would be the perfect outfit for a day at the park with the kiddos!

I like the design, style and colors in the bright Aztec top. It looks comfortable, yet is great to wear to work or even out with hubby.
a tip I learned was that while Aubergine is a popular color for this Fall, it is also a strong color. So as to not overdo it, mix it with other colors so it won’t be overpowering by itself.
