Mom’s Night Out Review & Giveaway!
If you are a Mother you understand the importance of a Mom’s Night Out. It does not matter if you have one kid or ten! It is hard being a Mom. Kids are sweet and adorable, but they are also messy, filthy and disgusting!
I spend my day as a stay at home Mom. I also watch two new born babies throughout the day and have a 6 year old to take to school. This of course is on top of home schooling my daughter. My days are FULL! No matter how much I love these beautiful children I also love “me time”. Unfortunately now that I am home schooling my “me time” is less and less. I am with children 24-7!
Recently I was sent a copy of Mom’ Night Out starring Sarah Drew, Sean Astin, Patricia Heaton and Trace Adkins. I was excited to finally have a movie that I could watch without all the inappropriate junk. No need to worry about foul language, nudity and sex during this family friendly film.
I loved this story of these Mom’s who are stressed to the max. They are loving moms and wives but they need a break! You will laugh hysterically as you see what not only happens to these Moms but also what happens to their children who are left alone with their husbands! This is a night they are not soon going to forget! Will the mom’s get the quiet dinner that they are looking for? Will the Dad’s have the kids 100% cared for while the Mom’s are away? I mean it’s only three hours right? What could happen?

Well we laugh about it now, but back when it happened years ago I about had a heart attack! My second oldest son when he was about eighteen months old decided on afternoon that he was going to walk all by himself down to the local Toot-n-Toteum store. About six blocks from our house, he had figured out how to unlock our back gate and off he went. Luckily a couple of high school girls found him wondering and walked him back the direction he had come from. I thanked them a million times over, and talk about a woman that was in a panic state that day, well that was me for sure. I think I aged about ten years that day for sure. Today that same pain in my butt is now thirty-one years old, and hasn’t caused me that much worrying ever since that day- 🙂
Parenting story- the first time I had to change my nephew’s diaper I probably went through 5 diapers to try to get it on properly.
All I can think of right now is that my youngest used to pretend to be a dog. He would go under the kitchen table and beg for food. He would roll over and pant. Funny memories.
my daughter was over 2 and still only had wisps of hair,,I waited so long for a girl and she was born bald,,there are almost 11yrs between my son and daughter,,I had gotten a sample of neat hair remover in the mail and put it in a drawer in the Bathroom,,I was on the phone talking to a friend and she came into the room,I smelled a horrible odor,,I said what have you been into,,her whole head was wet,,she ran and got the bottle for me and I screamed, OH NO ,,you wont have any wisps left!! I snatched her up and ran to the tub an turned it on full blast and turned her upside down and put her head under the faucet clothes and all,,she wasn’t happy about that at all,,luckily she only loss some hair around her crown and the wisps were saved!
