we are 8 brothers and sisters and we loved to help our parents when they were cooking, especially during the holidays, it was more the mess we made than what we help, but mom never complaint.

I remember when my mom and dad were still married we rented a winnebago and went to Mt.Shasta. We had so much fun. Also going to Stuart’s Point to stay at the family cabin was fun too. We went fishing and played in the streams. My sisters and I had a good childhood.
Every holiday is fun with tons of pics taken to remember.

I am one of three girls. We are all grown now, and I have always been closest with my mom. She is one of my best friends, and I feel an even stronger bond now that I have a child of my own!

I do not have any memories I blocked them all out after my dad died when I was 8 and when my mom died at 31 from unknown causes. Life Is definitely unfair,

I have lots of memories from my childhood. One special memory was when we found some old appliance boxes and made “clubhouses” out of them. My older brother and his friend decided to charge us “rent” and I went to my dad and asked him for some money. I can still hear the sound of the coins clanking together in his pocket. Fun times! (BTW- I never did give my brother any “rent” becuase just about that time the Ice Cream Truck came along and I bought some ice cream instead!)

My special moments were of my grandmother, my mom and I in the kitchen cooking for holidays. As a kid I would want to take the cookie dough or lick the bowl from cake batter. LOL

Cooking cookies in the kitchen at grandma’s meant we had to reserve cookie dough for grandpa. It was a must!

I remember going with my mom to go visit my grandmother on Sundays, and we would have sweet bread and coffee together and they would talk about the things going on in their lives.
