I was so excited when I found out that they were coming out with another Transformers movie. Especially when I learned that it was mainly focused on my favorite character…BUMBLEBEE!
On opening night, my husband and I stood in line early so we could get good seats. It’s a tradition that we have had since the first live action Transformers came out in 2007.
In this film, BUMBLEBEE, previously known as B-127, is responsible for finding the planet Earth so that the AUTOBOTS will have somewhere to go once CYBERTRON has fallen. OPTIMUS PRIME has given BUMBLEBEE a mission to defend Earth and save it from the DECEPTICONS. Even if Earth is… not quite ready.
I loved the line-up of actors, including Charlie Watson, played by Hailee Steinfeld, and Agent Burns, played by John Cena. The Film is also rated PG-13, for the younger Transformers fans! Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld), a teenager trying to find her place in the world, discovers and repairs the battle-scarred robot, who’s disguised as a Volkswagen Beetle. As the DECEPTICONS hunt down the surviving AUTOBOTS with the help of a secret agency led by Agent Burns (John Cena), BUMBLEBEE and Charlie team up to protect the world in an action-packed adventure that’s fun for the whole family. You can check out the trailer HERE. The film is out now!
I absolutely love the movie, and since my husband and I already saw it I decided to make a fun movie night for the rest of the family so they could watch it with us. I was so excited to share not only the movie with them but these awesome BUMBLEBEE toys and some yummy BUMBLEBEE themed goodies!
BUMBLEBEE Chocolate Caramel Covered Pretzels!
Ingredients:
- 11oz bag Caramel Candies
- 12oz. chocolate chips
- 12oz. Pretzel Rods
- Yellow Chocolate Melts
Directions:
- Unwrap all caramel candies and place in a microwave safe bowel with 1tsp of water. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring often, until caramel is melted and smooth.
- Lightly butter baking sheet so that the caramel will not stick to pan.
- Dip Pretzel rods into melted caramel. I like to pour my caramel into a tall drinking glass to make the dipping easier. Place caramel covered pretzels onto lightly buttered (or greased) baking sheet.
- Allow caramel to completely cool and become firm again. I like to place my sheet into the fridge for a few hours. You will know that the caramel is done cooling when they snap off the baking sheet easily.
5. Once caramel is done cooling begin to melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second increments the same way you did the caramel. Stir often and microwave until smooth.
6. Place a sheet of wax paper over the baking sheet.
7. Dip Caramel Covered pretzel rods into chocolate the same way you did the caramel. Place on wax paper covered baking sheet and let cool. (About an hour)
8. Once the pretzels are fully cooled you will want to place a handful of yellow colored chocolate melts into a microwave safe bowl and melt (the same way as before) until smooth.
9. Drizzle melted yellow chocolate over pretzel rods and let cool again. About 20 minutes.
10. Once cooled, break off excess yellow chocolate.
10. Serve and Enjoy!
If you are looking for a movie night with your family then I highly recommend BUMBLEBEE! It’s a fun, action packed movie that the whole family will love!
