Wherever The River Runs by Kelly Minter Review & Giveaway!
The Lord works in mysterious ways. It seems that some times he likes to take us out of our element and throw us into something unimaginable. That is exactly what he did with Kelly Minter on her trip through the Amazon.
I can not imagine how glorious a trip like that would be. It was amazing to read her words about the villages, people, animals and how God worked his Holy Spirit into her journey. In this book Kelly was taken from her comforts of home and put into what seems to be a whole new world. As the journey began Kelly knew that she was going to a new place to help teach the gospel. Little did she know that she would also be learning so much! Such a beautiful story!
This is an uplifting read that I am sure all of you would enjoy. I also now know that if given the chance to take a trip down the Amazon, I would do it!
On The Back
In Wherever the River Runs, Kelly Minter invites us on a journey down a river teeming with piranhas and caimans, as well as machete-wielding mothers, heroic jungle pastors, faith-filled children, and miracles too seldom experienced in our part of the world. Kelly’s honest and engaging narrative pulls back the curtain on one of the most captivating places on earth as well as on parts of the gospel we may be able to recite but never fully believed.
On this beautiful adventure through the jungles of Brazil and the tangles of the soul, Kelly rediscovers Jesus among a forgotten people living well beyond the corners of her previously defined faith – a people who draw her back to their country, their pain, and their hope in Him, again and again.
How would you like to win a copy of Kelly Minter’s Wherever The River Runs? I am happy to say that one lucky US or Canadian reader will be able to do just that! Good Luck!
