Almondina Biscuits Review & Giveaway Ends 5/22/14
This past year I have been making a lot of changes to my diet. I am over weight and tired of it so I knew that I needed to make some drastic changes. As some of you might have read in my previous posts I have decided that unless something has some nutritional value I will not be putting it into my body. In the beginning this was not easy for me. Especially when my body would start to crave sweets….but that is why I have started stocking my cupboards full of the healthier options. Options like these Almondina Biscuits that I was sent for the purpose of this review.
Almondina Biscuits come in a large variety of flavors and they actually contain some of the healthy stuff like protein, vitamins and calcium. I also love knowing that Almondina Biscuits do not contain any cholesterol, added fat, trans-fats, salt, or preservatives. These Alomdina Biscuits have honestly helped me kick some of my fatty food cravings. Whenever I need that sweet taste of chocolate I just eat a couple Chocolate Cherry Almondina Biscuits or the Choconut. It is a great alternative to what I was eating before and they taste amazing! I love all the pieces of fruits and nuts that are in each and every bite. It is like I can see the nutrition with every bite I take!
Total there are 8 Almondina Biscuit flavors including: Chocolate Cherry, Cinnaroma, Almonduo with Pistachios, The Original, Choconut, Gingerspice, Pumpkin Spice and Sesame. Each of these flavors contain almonds and are a great treat to eat dipped or on their own.
Almondina was introduced over 20 years ago in 1989. Yuval Zaliouk founder of Almondina knew that his Grandmother was onto something special with her secret cookie recipe. Not only were the flavors in this recipe outstanding but her cookies had a nutritional value that was unheard of in a ‘cookie’. Tuval Zaliok knew it was so special that he had to introduce his Grandmother’s recipe to the world and I am so glad he did!
