Chicken Soup for the Soul
From Lemons to Lemonade
Sometimes when life gets you down it is really hard to stay positive. It just seems that there is depressing things everywhere in life. Between sickness, watching the news and financial hardships things are just not going good for many people.
I learned early in life the importance of positive thinking. Sometimes I make my family mad because they say that I am “too positive”. To be honest it’s not like I’m unaffected by bad things. I just try really hard to not let the bad take over my mind. For example every time I start to think about something depressing in my life I stop and count at least 10 blessings that I have in my life. Focusing on the blessings can be a great way to keep your mind positive. I just always remember that all I can do is try my best and God will take care of the rest!
I really loved reading Chicken Soup for the Soul’s From Lemons to Lemonade. It was a great read and really helped me to know just how important it is to stay positive!
