This is a Fashionista Events opportunity. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is hosting their annual walk with illuminated balloons to signify “Light The Night” to help the thousands of American’s with blood cancer and help fund the research to find a cure.

 

I know the word cancer all too well and sadly so many of us are in that same group. If you yourself or someone you know has had cancer or is battling with cancer right now, we all can agree that it’s time we find a cure!

I have been involved with many walks for many amazing causes and what I found to be amazing about  The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Light The Night” is that it’s a walk that anyone can do. This is a walk that is for all ages and abilities. “Light The Night” is an hour long fundraising walk at sunset, how peaceful and amazing that sounds to me and I would hope to you as well.

You can gather up your friends, family and coworkers and start your own team and carry the illuminated balloons with pride in knowing that each and every step you take, you’re that much closer to help finding the cure to cancer.

 

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was founded in 1949. Forty years ago, there was only a 3% chance of surviving a childhood leukemia. Today, 90% of children with leukemia survive!! Thanks to research funded in part by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, hundreds of thousands of patients today are managing their condition with a daily pill. Plus we are closer than ever to cures for many types of blood cancers!
