Del Monte New Tomato Flavors & Giveaway including $25 Visa Gift Card!

Posted on February 3, 2013 / By: Krista 142 Comments

Del Monte has new canned tomato flavors and in celebration of that they are excited to host a giveaway as well as launch an amazing sweepstakes!

Recently you might have noticed that I started a Pinterest board dedicated to Del Monte Tomatos. On that board you can find lots of great recipes you could incorporate the new Del Monte tomato flavors in!

The two new Del Monte Tomato flavors are:

  • Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies
  • Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes with Chipotle Chilies

I was excited for them to arrive and I was excited to see what I could do with them.

I know that there are a few of my recipes that you all can not get enough of. So I decided to take my two most popular recipes and incorporate these new flavors into them.

For the Del Monte Tomatos with Green Chilis I decided that they might be delicious to add to a chicken wrap. They turned out delicious. Just remember to drain off the liquid before you put them into this recipe.

For the Del Monte tomatos with Chipotle Chilies I decided to make my Tomato Soup using the magic bullet. This turned out to be amazing as well. The only thing I did differently was add the can of Del Monte Tomatos instead of the milk. Yum!

How would you like to experiment with Del Monte Tomatos of your own? I am happy to say that one lucky reader will score one can of each of the new Del Monte flavors as well as a $25 Visa card to help you purchase the ingredients!

Also if you are interested in entering the Del Monte Sweepstakes there is still time! But hurry, deadline is February 15th!
