Ben Rudnick & Friends
Love is a
Superpower Review!
My thoughts on Ben Rudnick & Friends Love is a Superpower – This cd is one that you will want to just leave in your car and let it loop around for everyone to enjoy over and over! My kids absolutely love this cd but better than that, I personally love the cd which makes all the difference because I am the one who controls the playlist up front! Or better yet, play it inside your house and dance around! This cd has a feel all of its own. They are affectionately nicknamed “the Grateful Dead for kids”
The track includes 13 songs –
A little Boogie
Love is a Superpower
Where are the Dragons? (My son’s favorite!)
Wake up Happy (My Favorite!)
Ray
Chicken Soup Ballad
Prime Time
Wheels
My Horse (My daughter’s Favorite!)
Swingin’ Along
Scribbling
Here Comes the Sun
Jenny Jenkins
These are songs have a sound all to their own. I haven’t heard anything quite like them and it makes me want to take see them live in concert! Which they are having on the east coast so if you are out that way make sure you look them up! This album is their 10th release so you know they are doing something amazing here with kids’ music. The sound is superb and each and every voice and instrument is so crisp and clear. There are silly songs that will just make you giggle and there are songs that will make you want to get up and dance! My son’s favorite, Where are the Dragons, has a mystical/fantasy type feel to it which is cool. I honestly could wake up my kids every morning to their song, Wake Up Happy, it’s a feel good positive way to start the day for sure!
