Chicken Soup for the Soul: Boost Your Brain Power Review and Giveaway – 3 Winners (US and Canada)

My Thoughts on Chicken Soup for the Soul: Boost Your Brain Power

Boosting my brain power is something that I totally need to do. These past two weeks I have felt overwhelmed with everything and I am having a problem forgetting some of the little things….you know…like when you leave your house and get a block from home before you remember you left your purse on the kitchen table. Or when you walk out the front door and run through the check list in your head…kids – check, backpacks – check, water bottles – check, car keys- oops you just locked them in your house!

Okay maybe those things only happen to me. I mean I did lock myself out of the house before school just last week. I ended up having to throw my daughter over the fence into the back yard and hope that she would be able to unlock the back door for me. Of course my hubby locked that door before he went to work that morning. Alright onto plan B…calling my husband at work. I grabbed my cell phone out of my pocket only to find it had died.. Ug! On to plan C….tearing the screen off my bedroom window and putting the 4 year old I babysit in my house in hopes that he would open the front door for me. Do you think he opened the front door for me? NO! He stood at the door and said “Krista, you always say never open the front door for ANYONE.” After about 5 minutes of back and forth arguing about him needing to please LET ME IN, he finally went to the back door where my daughter was and finally open the back door for her. She then had to come let me in the front to get my car keys! Boy was that an exhausting morning!

As you can read I needed this Boost Your Brain Power book. I am hoping that by reading this book I will never have that eventful of a morning happen to me ever again!

Yes. Early Onset Alzheimer’s runs in my family, so everytime I can’t remember something, it’s kind of scary. I’d love to win this so I can work on this area.
