Pajanimals Toy Plush Review and Giveaway!

My Thoughts on Pajanimals

Recently I was sent a Jim Henson Pajanimals Toy for the purpose of this review. I must be honest and say that I had never before heard of Jim Henson’s Pajanimals but since this cute little creature arrived I was excited to learn about this T.V. show for kids!

Pajanimals debuted in 2011 on Sprout and airs each weekend. Characters in this fun loving pre-school aged cartoon include: Sweetpea Sue the pony, duck Squacky, CowBella the cow and Apollo the puppy.

The Pajanimals cartoon takes kids on adventures teaching them the key skills they will need to know at their young, teachable age. One of the main focus’s is getting ready for bed. Hence the name Pajanimals!

This fun Pajanimals Toy plush just rolled out on the shelves and is perfect for bed time. Already sporting their colorful PJ’s you can choose from each of the four characters found in this cartoon.

I was sent CowBella for the purpose of my review. She is soft and cuddly and sporting purple PJ’s that have her initials. My daughter loves CowBella and enjoys cuddling with her during story time each night as she goes to sleep!

Want to learns some great Pajanimal Tips for your little one’s bed time routine?

From Press Release:

Blow Off Steam

At the end of the day, allow your child to expend some energy by running around the house, dancing to music or tumbling on the carpet.

Calm Things Down

After getting the wiggles out, start the wind-down process.  Calm activities like reading or listening to quiet music are great ways to transition your little bundle of energy into a calmer state.

Keep It Light

Diffuse end-of-day grumpiness with a playful attitude. Bedtime shouldn’t be a chore. Try singing the “Brusha, Brusha, Brusha” song as you scrub those pearly whites. Play Simon Says as you get into pajamas (Simon says take off a sock!).

Stay Consistent

Stick to a specific bedtime and lead up to it with a routine. A simple routine is best, such as: bathe, brush teeth and read a book. This consistency provides a feeling of safety and a framework to help little ones soothe themselves to sleep.

Snuggle and Share

Once your child is tucked in bed, those last moments before lights out are the perfect time to snuggle up and huggle up. Take a few moments to reconnect and reassure. Share a warm story, talk about the highlights of the day or the things you look forward to tomorrow.
