If you haven’t had the chance to read Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life by Wendy Mass, then you are missing out. Actually… wait… no you’re not because now this amazing children’s novel is available on DVD!
Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life follows a boy’s adventures around New York City as he pursues his personal quest for the “meaning of life.”
Just one month before his 13th birthday, Jeremy receives a mysterious wooden box with the words “The Meaning of Life – for Jeremy Fink to open on his 13th birthday.” The search for the box’s four keys leads him and his best friend Lizzy on the search of a lifetime!
This fantastic DVD is set to be released on March 6, 2012. I received an advanced copy of the DVD to help facilitate this review, and I have to say that I loved it (and so did my kids… especially my oldest son who is six). The film was exciting, family friendly, and well paced. Plus the soundtrack to the movie was excellent. It also has some great special features like cast interviews, deleted scenes, bloopers, and a downloadable audio reading by author Wendy Mass of the book’s first chapter. Trust me, you’re gonna want to get this movie 🙂
