MyThoughts on The Adventures of Joe-Joe Nut & Biscuit Bill
Case#2: Mineral Mischief
Someof your might remember the AMAZING (and my top favorite ever!)Childrens book that I reviewed before called The Adventures ofJoe-Joe Nut & Biscuit Bill! Well Author Renee Hand has yetanother book out in this adorable series!
AsI have said before Renee has a style of writing that is educational!Throughout this entire book my daughter and I were not only takenaway on a journey but we were also learning about different rocks andminerals! I mean in FULL detail and in a way that we could understandat the same time!
Iknow it might be crazy to say but I think I might have even likedthis book better than the first! IF that is even possible! TheAdventures of Joe-Joe Nut & Biscuit Bill are two books that wejust can’t get enough of and to be VERY honest with you they are thetwo most read books that we have! In fact they are the two top booksmy daughter would bring to school for her teacher to read to theother kids! We love them!
Notonly was this story wonderful and full of mystery as Joe-Joe Nut andBiscuit Bill were trying to solve the mystery of the missing mineral. But the book also interacts with the kids! After the story iscompleted you can read through the definitions of words relating toRocks and Minerals! There is also a Did You Know section that willtalk more in depth about the Rocks and Minerals that were mentionedin the book! But, that is not all!! Renee has also put funexperiments in the back of the book for you to try out with yourchildren! LOVE IT!
Okay..so….forreal! I can’t get enough of Renee Hand’s books! I LOVE theeducational aspect along with the hands on! When she writes a bookshe truly goes above and beyond! You won’t be disappointed afterreading any of her wonderful books!
