Iam a country girl! Born and raised! So when I seen this months titleChicken Soup for the Country Music Soul I could not wait to open itup! I did not really know what it would be about….thinking maybejust stories from other country folk. But I was wrong! It was evenbetter!
ChickenSoup for the Soul Country Music contains over 100 songs and thestories behind why they were written! I enjoyed reading about TheHouse that Built Me, Southern Voice, The Devil Went Down to Georgia,etc…
Itis not very often that you get a look into the life of the songwriters. I mean we all know about Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, andCharlie Daniels. But, what about the people that really wrote thesongs? With Chicken Soup for the Soul Country Music you will get alook into their life and learn about the people behind the music. Thestories were inspiring and some of them down right funny! What abeautiful book to read! This is one that I know everyone in my familywould enjoy!
