MyThoughts on Bridgewater Candles
It has been raining here in Coloradofor the past few weeks and for some reason that is the time that I like to burncandles the most. There is nothing like cuddling into my rocking chair with acup of hot tea, a good book and a candle burning next to me!
I received three candles fromBridgewater for the purpose of this review and I would love to tell you abouteach of them! First let me start off by telling you a little about the overalllook of the candles! I first opened up the box and seen these beautiful glassjars with a fashionable black glass lid. There are also medal tags hanging offthe candles with decorative string to tell you the scent! I love the overalllook of the candles!The first candle that I pulled outof the box is titled Shoreline. The scent isexactly what you would expect! When I take off the lid I can smell the saltinessof the sea along with a sweet scent that I can’t place my finger on. This isthe candle I like to burn most when it is raining outside because it really coincidesperfectly with a rainy day!
The second candle that I pulled outof the box was the Paradise Punch! Thisscent is tropical all the way! It reminds me of being a child and eating OrangeCreamcicles! This is a candle that is perfect for the kitchen because it alwaysmakes me in the mood to bake!
The third candle is the mostprecious and creative of them all! I would like to start off by telling you alittle story about the candle that came. (from the box)

After reading that of course therewere tears in my eyes! I pulled the candle out of its little box and noticedthat on the outside of the candle jar is a small imprinted handprint of achild. The candle itself does have a perfume scent which I can’t get enough of!This candle now sits next to my bathtub and is lit every time I need to relax.
Something else about Bridgewatercandles that I want you all to know is that with the purchase of every candleBridgewater will feed one child for one day as part of the Global OrphanCrisis. That in itself is a good reason to shop Bridgewater!

The purchase of the Special Edition candle will feed a child for one week through our partnership with Rice Bowls. The Jar Candles with the lid are a part of the Light a Candle Feed a Child Everyday program. So the purchase of a jar candle will feed a child for one day, and the Special Edition will feed a child for one week.
Also, in June 2010 Bridgewater launched the Light a Candle Feed a Child Campaign. Through our partnership with Rice Bowls, a nonprofit that feeds and nurtures orphans in developing countries, Bridgewater is committed to donating 75 cents for each jar candle sold, which goes to feed a child for one day. There is also a Special Edition Candle. For every Special Edition candle sold, Bridgewater donates 5.25 to Rice Bowls, which goes to feed a child for one week. The new Special Edition Candle for Spring 2011 is Frankie’s Fragrance.
