I have lived the experience of a child telling me theywere someone else. What a wonderful imagination children have and with My Nameis Not Alexander they will not only know that they are not alone in theirimaginations but they will also now know about some wonderful men of our past!I love how the author Jennifer Fosberry has chosen men that you might notexpect to be the imaginative characters of this book.
I also love that in the back of the book is a littlebiography about the important men from our past! Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt, ChiefJoseph, Jackie Robinson, and more!
Most all of you know how important educational children’sbooks are to me. My Name is Not Alexander is at the top of the list for one ofthe most adorable and educational children’s books I have ever read!
If you are looking for this adorable book but would preferthe main character to be a girl than that is okay as well! Jennifer Fosberryalso has a book out titled My Name Is Not Isabell! This is an author you truly wantto read! She captures the Childs imagination and attention! Each child I haveread this book to has later asked me about the characters and who they were!They all could not wait to read more of the story and see who Alexander wouldbecome next!
