My Thoughts on Super Sprowtz
One of the best things about this time of year is growing a garden! Ilove planting my own fruits and veggies and watching them grow. Now that mydaughter is a little older she enjoys being my helping hand as I de-weed andwater each day.
Super Sprowtz is a fun way for your child to learn about the healthy vegetablesaround them. With fun characters and stories your child will be captivated withthe personalities of each vegetable. For example Colby Carrot gives the powerof super sight, Erica Eggplant gives super smarts, Zachary Zucchini gives thepower of super swimming, etc…There are even villains such as Pompous pollution,Junk, and Greasy. Each book is not onlypacked full of fun but also facts about what vegetables can do for you.
I was able to review two Super Sprowtz books! First was The SuperSprowtz Board book. I like how the book is perfect for the younger kids andgets right to the point about how wonderful your veggies can be for you! If youeat them you will grow to be strong and healthy! The second book is perfect for the little older kids. It is part of theNutrition Education Series and the one I received is titled ‘I am EricaEggplant and I Am Super Smart’ The book is about racing against PompousPollution and a chemical that threatens the City’s Garden. The back of the bookalso contains actual pictures of each veggie and some of the facts about thatparticular vegetable.
