My Thoughts on Frankie The Walk ‘n Roll Therapy Dog Visits Libby’s House

When life hands you lemons make lemonade! Right? That is exactly what Barbara and her dogFrankie has done! When Frankie was young he hurt his back and was placed in adoggie wheel chair. Not something you see every day but I am so happy thatBarbara and Frankie decided to take this step.
In the book Barbara writes about Frankie’s perspective on being a rock ‘nroll therapy dog. Frankie is able to bring a smile to the face of many eachmonth as he travels to the Libby House retirement home to visit his elderlyfriends. I found this book to be inspiring and Frankie is able to teach thechildren that read his story that anything is possible and you should never leta trial in your life set you back. There were parts of this book that broughttears to my eyes and I enjoy reading it each and every time. Frankie the walk ‘nroll therapy dog visits Libby’s House is a longer book than most children’sbooks and contains 49 pages. There are also pages telling about Frankie andcontain very interesting facts. I love this book! I find it uplifting and inspirational!Any animal lover will enjoy this wonderful book!

Frankie is cool! Frankie has wheels that help him to walk. I have adog too. She is black and white. Frankie is brown. At the beginning of the bookI thought I should be sad for Frankie but now I am not. He is happy just theway he is. He can still move and do things that other dogs do. Just in adifferent way. Frankie makes people smile. Mom says that is what makes Frankieso special. Frankie makes people feel good about themselves and makes them feelspecial too. I like Frankie. He dresses up like a hot dog for Halloween. Iwould like to see Frankie as a hot dog. That’s silly.
