Getting to know CoupDeCoeurJewelry
Hi, my name is Tina and I live in Athens, Greece,with my husband and two little boys, 6 and 3,5 years old. As most crafters, Iloved to make things with my hands since I was little. My studies in theEconomic University of Athens were left incomplete, because they made me amiserable person as they were the worst choice I could ever make. Instead Itook two years of pottery lessons, some painting lessons, later some wallpainting effects lessons and lately I attended a metalsmithing class.For years, I made jewelry occasionally, for me and myfriends. Five years ago I started making jewelry on a constant base.
Elegant, femininejewelry, with a touch of bohemian or nostalgic style.
I knew I wanted a French name, I love how French soundsand what a good combination it makes with items that concern women, in myopinion. I thought a French name would suit well the kind of jewelry I make, soI spent a few days repeating some of my favorite French phrases in my mind. Iended with coup de coeur both for thesound of it and its meaning. When you say you had a coup de coeur it means youtruly love something, you lose your mind about something, you are passionateabout something, you can’t get it out of your mind, you’re in love with it. Ihope that some of the potential jewelry buyers will feel this way about thejewelry I make.
For the time being I think I will continue addingdifferent versions of the style you already see in my shop. What I would liketo do in the future is to make home décor items, which I already do for myhome, but would love to make them “officially”.

Most of my inspiration comes from my materialsthemselves, the curiosity to put this with that and see what comes out. Ideascan also come from various things, a picture in an interior design magazine, adress a friend wears, a pattern on a piece of fabric.I enjoy making all my jewelry equally. But I like tochange from one piece of jewelry to another so that I don’t get bored.

My Thoughts
When I first set up the review andgiveaway with Coup de Coeur I was very excited because her style was completelymy style as well!
I received a gold and green necklacewith Chinese knots. When I opened the envelope I noticed that the necklace wascontained in a cute little bag allowing it to be delivered safely.The necklace is made with a sturdychain and each bead is held together tightly. The color combination is stunningand I love that each bead is unique and different. Coup de Coeur mixes themtogether perfectly! I also am well pleased with the length as it hangsperfectly! I dislike necklaces that make me feel like I am choking from thembeing too tight. That is not the case here!
