My Thoughts Really Woolly Kids Trusting In The Shepherd I have a "Sunday box" of items for my daughter to help her to keep the Sabbath day holy. I am so excited because this week I added another fun movie to her “Sunday Box”! Really Woolly kids Trusting In The Shepherd is a cute animated movie that has lovable characters and teaches the children about Jesus. I love that Really Woolly Kids take everyday childhood situations and teaches the children that through prayer and faith they can overcome anything. The two cute stories in Trusting The Shepherd are about conquering fear. The entire DVD is centered on Psalm 23:4 and there is even a cute little song to help the children learn the scripture. I know that scripture memory is very important to me. In fact not only do I try to get my daughter to memorize important scriptures but I also give out little encouraging gifts to my Primary class for each scripture that they memorize that pertains to our Sunday lessons. I can’t wait to … [Read more...]

TeacherCreatures Etsy Shop!
Getting to know TreacherCreatures How did you get started creating your work? I found a Japanese book about making creatures from socks and gloves. I made a few of these, then started designing my own and have never looked back. What advice would you give to new artist? Keep experimenting, and keep creating, even when sales are down. What do you do when you’re not being an artist? What activities do you enjoy? I am a stay at home mum who also loves reading and doing craft activities with our daughter. Can you remember the first piece you ever made? Yes, it was a sock cat and I still have it sitting on shelves in our bedroom. When did you first notice you had a talent in this? I have been sewing and designing creatures since I was a child. It is just the materials that have changed. I discovered socks had a far greater potential for designs than flat material and have allowed me to try more complex designs than I would have considered before. Buy It! Go … [Read more...]
The Coming of The Economic Armageddon Review
My Thoughts The Coming Of the Economic Armageddon By Dr. David Jeremiah The Coming Of The Economic Armageddon by Dr. David Jeremiah, Is one of the most eye opening books I have read in a long time! The book starts out talking about the national debt. Wow! I had never really thought twice about it and don't know a lot about politics or how the government comes up with their money or what they do with it. I have always wanted to know more but never knew how to learn about it. Dr. David Jeremiah breaks it down for you completely. Even down to how Medicare and social security was started and exactly how much we owe to what countries. I found this book flat out frightening in some parts. Don’t get me wrong I am so glad to have read this book! But to look at what is happening to the U.S. on a much deeper level was crazy. Dr. David Jeremiah also talks about everything from a biblical perspective. The things that are happening have been predicted by prophets and teachers in the bible. Dr. … [Read more...]
Handmade Wine Charms Giveaway Open Worldwide!
Getting to know FantastiCrafts Where are you from? and a little bit about you I am originally from Western Massachusetts. I moved to Chicago for graduate school (theology) and have been here since 2005. I finished school and currently work at another university in Chicago. What items do you carry in your shop?My shop Fantasticrafts carries lots of bright and fun jewelry, as well as other necessities such as wine charms, hair accessories, stitch markers, bookmarks, and magnets. I have another shop on Etsy, VibrantVows that sells bridal and formal jewelry and accessories. How did you decide on your shop name? My shop name Fantasticrafts was inspired by my favorite blogger, Richard Lawson from Gawker. He often makes up cute, funny words (like fantasticastle) when describing the exploits of the Real Housewives. VibrantVows was thought up by a verbally talented friend of mine. She actually thought of about 20 potential store names and I had the difficult task of narrowing it … [Read more...]

My Thoughts on Kinoko AHCC I had never heard of Kinoko AHCC before this review. To be honest the name almost intimidated me away from reviewing the product. But then I thought, “Well this is why I review stuff! Right? To help educate myself as well as you about products that are out there.” Kinoko AHCC promotes immune health. It enhances the function of Nk cells, dc cells, t-cells, macrophages, and cytokines. So what does that all mean? Well when the cells are boosted…so are you! Want to know a little more about the Kinoko’s AHCC? I sure did! So here are some FAQ’s that I found on the AHCC web site! Check them out! Q: How safe is AHCC? A: AHCC is extremely safe. The Church Awakening by Charles R. Swindoll Review
My Thoughts on The Church Awakening By Charles R. Swindoll The Church Awakening The Urgent Call For Renewal by Charles R. Swindoll is a book about the erosion in religion. Charles talks about how many churches and religions are going off track. It used to be that every Sunday people went to church in their Sunday best with their bible in hand. Now some people are lucky if they even remember to bring the bible along. I myself see what the author is talking about to some extent. But on the other hand, I am so firm in my faith and I don't feel that any of that is happening in my church so it is a little harder for me to relate. While reading the first chapter of The Church Awakening I could not put the book down. But by the end if the second chapter I has lost interest. I felt that it was the same things over and over again. I agree with many of the points that Charles was making but I also feel that the points could have gotten across to the reader in fewer words. Pedia-Care Review and Giveaway
My Thoughts on Pedia-Care Cold and flu season are upon us. I know with this chilly Colorado air I will be relying more on products such as Pedi-Care. Pedia-Care carries children’s medicine that I know and trust. With their new fever reducer and multi-symptom cold medicine I know that I will be covered as far as my daughter and day care kids go. Fortunately for my family but unfortunately for you I was not able to test these products out as I have yet to have a sick child. Although, I have not used these exact Pedia-Care products before I have used various other Pedia-Care products in the past and I am thrilled with how well they have seemed to work. The kids seem to like the flavors and do not fight me when I ask them to take their medicine. From Fevers to colds to the flu I always relied on Pedia-Care products and know that I will continue to use them in the future! Buy It! A Christmas Carol Pop-Up Review
My Thoughts on Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol Pop-Up Book Pop-up books have always been so fascinating to me. Even at my age I still love pop-up books. A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is no exception. This book is one of the most elaborate pop-up books I have ever seen! In fact my aunt who also loves pop-up books said that this is almost a pop-up that is meant for adults because of all the extravagance. In A Christmas Carol Pop-up there is not a story written on the pages. The pages in the story are dedicated to the attention to details and allow the whole page to pop right out at you! So where is the story? Well the story is actually in a little book that is in a pocket on each page. You pull the little book out, read it and then put it back and turn the page for the next book. I love how many little details are hiding in the book this beautiful pop-up book. I can’t wait for Christmas time so I can share and read this stunning book with all of the children in my … [Read more...]
3M Headlight Restoration Kit Review and Giveaway
My Thoughts on 3M’s Headlight Restoration Kit After asking my husband his opinion if the 3M Headlight Restoration Kit the only words he had to help me out was "it's amazing!", "so easy to use!" so ok I guess it is up to me to explain in more detail just how amazing 3M’s Headlight Restoration Kit really is! Let me start out by saying that your headlights are one of the mist important safety features on your vehicle. So the more light you get out if your lens the better! Right? My husband ripped into the 3M Headlight Restoration Kit as soon as he could. He was outside polishing up the headlights on his truck and then my car. The first step he did was mask off the paint and anything around the headlight. With that step he was protecting the paint and seeing to it that there was nothing damaged. The second step my husband did was sand the lens with the 500 grit sand paper that was provided with the kit which removed all of the yellowing in the lens. The third step was sanding … [Read more...]
