My Thoughts on Red Chair Press
Children’s book companies are one of my favorite companies to work with. I love the benefits that reading can give a child. Red Chair Press has cute little stories and makes easy readers to help aid in teaching the kiddos to read. I was sent The Best Birthday Gift by Barbara Bakowski to read and review with my daughter. The Best Birthday Gift is an easy reader and I love that the last page of the book has a question about the story. It is important to know if the children comprehend what they are reading. There is also a list of the big words in the story along with their definition. I love this feature because even early readers need to push the children.
Red Chair Press has funny bone readers that are educational for the children. There are books about fairness, trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, caring, and citizenship. These are all attributes that I want in my children and I am glad to know where to turn the next time I need a good book to teach my children about these features.Ashes Thoughts

In the Best Birthday Gift someone forgot to take care of the cake and the flowers. The flowers wilted because someone forgot to put them in water. The boy was not listening to his Mom and Dad. Then something bad happened to the cake because he was not listening to his Mom. I learned to listen to Mommy and Daddy. But his Grandma was still happy even when the little boy was sad. Presents don’t mean everything. There are other ways to be happy and to have a good birthday.
