My Thoughts on 3M’s Scotch-Gard
Fabric & Carpet Protector
I am sure that most of you remember the 3M Headlight restoration Kit Review that I posted a few weeks ago! Well I am so happy to inform you all that 3M has yet another product that I get to share with you all! It is 3M’s Scotch Gard fabric and carpet protector. As most of you know it is hard to keep your car seats clean when you have children. In fact now with my day care kids in and out of the car it is almost impossible to prevent stains in the seats and carpet! Right?…..wrong! 3M’s Scotch Gard will help protect your vehicle from future stains! Okay so that basically sounds like a miracle product to me. But, that’s probably because it is! Scotch-Gard is easy to use. All you will need to do is give the can a good shake and spray two even coats on your fabric and carpet. (please always test a small spot first) Allow time for the fabric to dry between coats (usually about 4 hours) This will allow protection against liquid spills, stains, and soiling! Wow! What a product! I wish I could show you a before and after picture with this review but no matter how much my husband begged me to test it fully I just could not fathom him really dumping liquid on my seats to make sure it repelled it. But, that is still okay as I have used enough 3M products to know that in the future when the spill does occur the fabric protector will be there to repel the liquid away!
3M’s Scotch-Gard fabric and carpet protector will push the stains away from the fabric and carpet allowing the spills to be easily cleaned up with soap and water. The Fabric Protector will not change the look or color of your fabric but you will need to re-coat your seats and carpet every few months with your cars typical washing!
Other than that all I can say is please follow directions. This stuff can work wonders but it must be applied correctly to do its job!
