Getting to know Kirameku

I am from Montreal, Quebec. A big city that allows all kinds of experiences and that let you meet a lot of different cultures ! 😀

What to say about me… Well, I am an artist in so many ways ! I am currently a student at Dawson College and studying my biggest passion, Illustration & Design.
I love life, nature, cooking, reading, dancing… ! And I love to make others happy ! 😀

What I have in stock is a bunch of funky and original pieces. I have mostly rings, but I also have a bunch of necklaces and earrings, as well as original watercolors. I love anything colorful and sparkly, so you will find glass and crytal, all of that so it will fit any budget ! 😀

I started my Etsy shop a bit more than a year ago, when I rediscovered jewlery making and that I was crawling under tons of artwork. I decided to have an exclusive brand that would offer unique pieces at a reasonnable price so everyone could treat themselves.
I feel that woman have too much pressure on their back these days with all the standards
in society. I want to bring colors and self-confidence in their daily life. Don`t you feel so pretty when you wear those earrings you just bought and that you love ? Because I believe that yes, beauty is confidence ! 😀

I would still say the same thing after many years into Fine Arts, read ! You can never know enough of your materials and what has been done in the past ! Oh, and yes, have fun ! :DWhen I am not creating ? Well, that`s pretty much only when I sleep and do laundry lol ! Right now I am creating 24/7, but I love taking yoga classes and to go out dancing. And of course, you guessed it, read ;P.

The very first piece ? Well, for drawings I have lot pilled up in boxes with my babies shoes, as for jewlery, I don`t quite remember, but I have some pretty old bracelets that I found this summer, and I was suprised to see how nice the pattern was ! I was probably 12 when I made that piece.

In drawing, well, it is my passion. Don`t give me a pen for a week and I`ll be as sad as a rock. I was drawing as far back as I can remember. For jewlery, I would say I saw the talent when I had all those good comments from my classmates about the necklaces I made and that I was wearing at school. That was the starting point I think, but hey, I am having so much fun creating I didin`t really thought about what others would say about it ! :DI do have a blog, a twitter and a second shop. I don`t believe I will have a facebook page with all the copyrights issues though…
