My Thoughts on Knights Of Arrethtrea

Many of today’s children are being left behind. You know what I mean. The parents don’t care what their children are doing and more and more parents are relying on TV, Internet, and video games to baby sit their children without a thought to what they are really watching or learning. In fact I remember a statistic I heard when I was pregnant saying that by age 5 the average child will have seen more than 600 ‘dead’ bodies on TV. That is a little disturbing to think about!
Author Chuck Black decided to do something different. Chuck Black had an idea in his heart to lift up children instead of bringing them down. Chuck Black came up with an intriguing series of books that focus on virtues and tales of perseverance and faithfulness. Plus the books are adventurous and thrilling. Knights of Arrethtrea by Chuck Black are fun books to read! The daycare kids could not get enough and I loved the deeper meaning behind each book. The books teach kids about loyalty and courage while allowing them to see the downfalls of greediness, doubt, and evil.
