My Thoughts on God and Dog

Sometimes it is hard to explain the love God has to a child. They don’t understand that God is always there no matter what. I love the way that Wendy Francisco compares God to a dog. At first I did not know how I would like that comparison, but the way Wendy handled it is tremendous! Wendy talks about how we are the ones that walk away from God and our dogs. She also explains that no matter what they are always there awaiting our return. God and dog by Wendy Francisco has helped my daughter understand some if Gods feelings because my daughter is able to know how our dog reacts to her. This is a super cute little story and I am so glad to have read it with my little girl!Ashes thoughts
“When I look up I see God, When I look down I see my dog” (quote from the book) It is funny to read this book. It is easy to read and I understood the words. The Dog dances with glee and so does God. I have a dog and she is my best friend. God forgives me when I do wrong and my dog wags his tail. That is my favorite part of the book. My dog wags her tail a lot. She loves to be petted and hugged by me. I love God and I love my Dog.
