My Daughter started her first year of school this year and it has been a little hard on me. But, one thing I am so very thankful for is the wonderful teacher that she has every day teaching her and guiding her down her path of learning.
I know that when I was in school I had special teachers that I could tell they truly cared about me and wanted what was best. They helped change my life and guide me to who I am today. That is why when given the opportunity to give back I said “YES!” How could I turn down the chance for you all to be able to share with the teachers in your life just what they mean to you?
I watched the video that goes along with this post and it brought tears to my eyes. What would this world be like without those special people? Thank a Teacher is a wonderful cause and I do hope that it makes each and every one of you think about the teachers that taught you or are now teaching your kids! Let them know what they mean to you! We could not do this without them.
