Where are you from? and a little bit about youI’m Marinda 🙂 I live in a small town right around the Pinehurst-Fayetteville-Fort Bragg area in North Carolina. I was born and raised here in NC, so I consider myself to be a southern girl with a down-home southern charm. I’m 24 years old and I work as an Office Coordinator in a medical massage practice. Outside of work I enjoy singing, reading, dancing, baking, watching football and shopping (anything fun!) I love life and I love learning new things. I try to be creative in my own way, so recently I gave jewelry making a try and found out I loved it. I thought it would be really cool if other people could wear some of my creations (how AWESOME is that???!!) So after friends and family started wearing my pieces, I decided a few months ago to make an etsy page and see what happens. I enjoy it so much and I get so excited when I get to sell a peice to someone I don’t even know from somewhere completely far away. It’s the coolest feeling to know that someone else is wearing something I made. So I’ll see where it goes from here and I encourage anyone else to not be afraid to try something new and put yourself out there every once in a while, you never know what kind of an experience it’s going to be. 🙂
What items do you carry in your shop?How did you decide on your shop name?
Minnabean was my nickname since before I can remember. It’s cute and fun and bubbly and…me!
Do you have anything new you plan on adding to your store?I know some people prefer gold over silver, so I’m starting to make and add more gold jewelry to my shop. I would also like to add more bracelets as well and later on anything else different I can come up with. Variety can never hurt.

What is your inspiration when making a new item?
I love nature, so alot of my creations are made from my favorite things about nature. Anything from the beach to different seasons to colors. Some of my items are even from songs, like the ‘build me up buttercup’ necklace and the ‘blush and bashful’ earrings are from my favorite movie, Steel Magnolias. All of my pieces of jewelry are a little bit of some of my favorite things.
What items in your shop do you most enjoy making and why?Anything else you would like us to know?
I’m very open minded and flexable, so if anyone sees anything in my shop and wants it customized a certain way they want or wants something in a different color, or anything like that.. feel free to convo me on etsy and let me know. I will do my best to work with you 🙂
Dainty! What a fun word and describes minnabean’s earrings perfectly. Minnabean made a beautiful pink and lavender pair of earrings for me to review with silver accents. Simply wonderful! Minnabean’s wires are looped in place firmly and nothing has come apart after normal wear. The earring hook that goes through the ear is also sturdier than what some sellers use when making earrings. With minnabean’s jewelry you can’t go wrong. Wither you need that special something for yourself or a loved one she has what you need to make you feel special!
Minnabean has a wonderful Etsy shop. There is a large selection to choose from and a wide array of colors and styles. My biggest pet peeve about a shop is when there is only a couple of items.
