We all love a good deal, yeah? I do. I don’t have the kind of budget that allows me to buy a new outfit every day of the week.
Heck, even when I’ve made good money, I hated spending more than I had to on clothing. Not that I’m cheap. I just have priorities.
It’s not just about money, though. It’s also about time. Having a million options every day can make getting dressed MORE complicated, not less.
I taught sewing and fashion design for ten years, and one of the questions I answered over and over was, “What should I spend time on?”
That means what? Well, more time when you’re getting ready (since you already know what you have to wear), and more money to spend on fun stuff, since you only need 12 excellent garments to get you through.
Now, if you’re like me, “uniform dressing” probably doesn’t appeal much. That’s where creativity comes in!
It’s OK to splurge a bit. You already have your foundation in place.
