StaphAseptic is a greaseless, non-staining gel that provides soothing minor wound care without stinging or irritation. It contains lidocaine for effective pain relief. StaphAseptic is one tool in the fight to help prevent skin infections caused by bacteria such as MRSA and other germs.
StaphAseptic is for prevention of bacterial infections caused by MRSA, staph and other germs and is NOT a treatment or cure for an existing infection. It is also important that it be used on minor wounds, not those requiring medical attention.
Running an at home day care there are bound to be many “Boo, boos.” and with those tiny little scratches there can begin something much worse. Staff, MRSA, and other types of bacteria, just to name a few.
I was provided with StaphAseptic to review. Fortunately I have not had to use this on any cuts or scrapes YET. Although, I am sure that with it being summer time and watching three boys that it is bound to happen sooner rather than later. But, something I have used this on is the many mosquito bites that my little one has gotten here in the mountains of Colorado. I have also used this on a burn that I received after cooking dinner one night. StaphAseptic contains lidocaine which helps to numb the itchiness of bug bites as well as the uncomfortable burn I received. It seemed to work wonders with both situations. In fact with my burn being right before dinner I figured that it would keep me up all night but after I coated it with StaphAseptic I felt instant relief and was able to sleep just fine! I am very impressed with StaphAseptic. I know that I have not yet had to use it on cuts and scrapes but I have used it almost every night on itchy mosquito bites and it is Wonderful!
