Where are you from? and a little bit about you
I was born in Panama and was raised in Miami, Florida. I have always been a creative spirit dabbling in music and art during my formative years. My mother is a seamstress, so I was always surrounded by beautiful fabrics, lace, buttons, threads and the likes. I now realize I am a privileged child to have such a creative mother and she certainly influenced me.
Aside from handmade things, I write poetry, (I began doing this in second grade), sew, bake vegan treats, sing (I am a classically trained singer), play the piano and love to travel (I have been to 55 cities in 12 countries). I am always looking for a new adventure!
My educational background is in Psychology and Mass Communication and I was lucky enough to receive my postgraduate degree from a British University. My professional career is in marketing, media and public relations.
What items do you carry in your shop?
In my shop you will find One of A Kind Jewelry, Art Prints, Photography Prints, Home decor, Handmade toys/plush. I will be adding new things little by little, so you’ll see new things quite often. I am known t carry a vintage sewing pattern every now and then.
How did you decide on your shop name?
The idea for my shop began in 2007 while I was living in London. I dreamed of having a shop where I could see organic baby clothes but that idea quickly vanished. In 2009, when I began painting, I thought it would be clever to name it “Farnum Ink” instead of the traditional “Farnum Inc.” Once I carried the name for a couple of months and my creativity spurred me in other directions, I decided to add the “Studio” portion to it and that is how “Farnum Ink Studio” was born.
What is your inspiration when making a new item?
When it comes to my jewelry and art prints, I am very inspired by pop culture and fashion, particularly vintage, mod and victorian grunge. I love patterns and vivid colors so I look to architecture, home decor, textures and fabrics for inspiration.
Can you remember the first piece you ever made?
My first painting was an 11 x 14, acrylic on canvas of an ice cream cone titled “Sweet”. I currently have the piece as it has not sold. Maybe it’s one that I should keep, so whenever I settle down and purchase I home I can put it in my kitchen.

Dannibeth was kind enough to let my daughter pick out her favorite photo or art print. My daughter decided on the Love Tweet At Print. It is very cute and simple for my daughter’s bedroom wall. She had a blast going and choosing a photo frame. (at the moment we had to settle on black but will soon be changind to pink.)Dannibeth has used bright colors to make the children happy and she has a fun technique that I have never seen before. Her pictures are truly a one of a kind! Dannibeth also prints her paintings on Epson paper! It is water resistant, smudge resistant, and fade resistant! That’s a great deal! Fun and cutesy paintings are not the only items that Dannibeth carries in her shop! She also has fun and bright photographs and soft toys for the kids. Dannibeth carries the perfect specific gift for that special child in your family! I love the art print that my daughter has chosen and I know that you will love Dannibeths fun items as well.
