Where are you from? and a little bit about you
My name is Elizabeth and I live in Greenwood, Indiana. My shop’s name is Especially 4 U By E and T and I sell soaps, bath and body products, and some personalized items. I have always loved to use my creative side. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom to my son, Thomas I worked in the political field in communications. I loved to do design work as well as the writing side of my job. There was something exciting about beginning my work with a blank piece of paper. I could use words to create and make anything.
I started out making wreaths and still LOVE it. I also love to bake and love to try new ideas on cakes, cookies and cupcakes. I got a Cricut and went from there. I started studying anything and everything to see how else I could use my Cricut. I started making personalized T-shirts for my son, onesies, hats, and so on. Then I started working with vinyl and my ideas were endless.
My son, like me, has incredible sensitive skin. We went through baby product after baby product trying to find something that was gentle enough for his baby skin, but strong enough to fight his eczema. I started reading books, checking the Internet, joining bath and body groups online and thought, “Hey, I could do this.” From there, I just push on and on. I started figuring out the more I read and the more I learned the better my family’s skin became. My husband kept getting a rash every time he shaved so I studied up on it and made some shaving soap and little by little I found something that worked! I was amazed of all the harsh chemicals that are used in soaps, bath and body products bought at the store.
What items do you carry in your shop?
I have bath and body products; soaps, lotions, scrubs, bubble bath and shower gel, as well as some personalized items; such as tote bags, wine glasses, t-shirts, and baby onesies.
How did you decide on your shop name?Do you have a favorite scent?
I am not sure I could pick a favorite. I like when I get to play with different scents and mix them together. I have one bar of soap, called Yikes! Stripes!, that is made with Shea Butter soap and has Peppermint, Bergamont, and Tangerine scents. It smells like summer and vacation. I love it. It also has Epsom Salt on the top of the soap. It is one of my favorites.Do you have a blog, twitter, or facebook page?

I also have a blog, which I love to write about items in my shop, promote other artisans and crafts, and showcase just about anything that strikes my fancy. I received a Lavender Vanilla bath melt as well as a bubble gum soap sample. The bath melt was wrapped up in a cute little bag and it was labeled with the scent and the ingredients. I have never seen an Etsy seller label the bath products with the ingredients before and I was very impressed by this.
When I placed the bath melt into the water I was in love! It smelled wonderful and I quickly felt the smooth oil in the water. Elizabeth’s bath melt is also one of the few melts that have actually lasted more than 2 minutes in the bath. Usually bath melts melt so fast that it takes the fun out of it for me! I also love that the melt was big enough that I could break it up into three marvelous baths!
The Bubble Gum Soap was meant more of a Thank You instead of a review but I must say that it was excellent as well. Bubble Gum is one of my favorite scents. This soap did not feel like it left any residue on my skin like some soaps. I am very impressed with the quality of Elizabeth’s items and I know you will be as well!
